What's for Supper, Part 2

Tonight's feature was roast turkey, corn, bread and cheese, because shredded cheese is the only kind Mason will eat. No surprise, but he wouldn't touch his mashed potatoes. The kid DOES NOT like white mashed potatoes, seasoned or unseasoned. He will however, devour mashed sweet potatoes, even just plain, no butter or sugar.

Our messes seem amplified in part because Mason is still perfecting his use of spoon and fork. He does great with a fork, the spoon is getting thee. I guess the most important thing, mess aside, is that he eats. We really struggled getting him onto table foods but looking back, he just wasn't ready for them. I think some of our issue may have been texture too. But now, the little dude will eat just about anything. Except mashed (white) potatoes.
