Candid Mason

It's so hard to believe that Mason is almost 9 months old already! It's so fun to take pictures of him - and so glad we got a new digital camera last year at Christmas. I cannot imagine the cost of film with all of these :).

We are slowly working in more and more table foods, however, with his suspected egg allergy, we have to be cautious about what exactly he eats. I've learned about a children's food allergy group in SF that meets monthly and we hope to start attending in November.

Mason loves paper - the photos below are from the night of my Dad's birthday - Mason got to "help" Grandpa open his gift (which yes, was wrapped in a diaper box). Mason was goofy that night!



Mason loves to be in the air - his shirt is all wet from a sippy cup flood. We are still trying to find a cup that works well for him. He has one (thanks Ashley!) that we've had the best luck with so far....however, he will drink out of a regular glass with assistance, so maybe we will just skip the sippy stage. I'd be OK with that.


I would have to say this is the "photo of the week" - our awesome daycare folks got this picture of him - he's trying to do a push-up or the down-dog position from yoga and pilates. Mason's been doing this at home quite a bit too - he's so close to crawling (at least we think?). We often get photos or videos of Mason at daycare so we know how his day is going...it really brightens our day when we get these. Mason goes to a small, in-home daycare with only four other children and there are 2 providers so he gets lots of attention.
